Cardio is of or relating to the heart or cardiovascular exercise. CARDIOVASCULAR health is the health of the heart and organs which are dependent on strong blood supply. For beginners 20-30 minutes is a good start and slowly add time till you get to 30 minutes. Later on it is recommended to workout 30-60 minutes most days of the week. there is great importance when it comes to working out your heart. the heart is not being worked out properly you can increase your risk of getting diabetes ,coronary heart disease , heart failure or a stroke.
Three cardio exercises you can do are jumping jacks , swimming , AND jogging/running. Swimming trains the body to use oxygen more efficiently which is reflected in declines in the resting heart rate and breathing rate , works out the heart and lungs.to get the most health benefits from your exercise , your exercise intensity should be at a moderate or vigorous level OF . some cardio activities we have done in physical education are swimming and jogging/running. also lunges which we do everyday as our stretches.
to live a healthier life I can start by eating healthier and began to workout more often. i am now going to be more cautious of what I choose to eat and get out more instead of staring at a computer screen or being on electronics all day. during vacation I plan to go for runs every morning and chose healthier food options.also cut down on sweets and junk food .and begin to eat more fruits and vegetables.
